What Was The Armor Of Ancient Egypt Made Of?

The Ancient Egyptian shield was made of wood and covered in cowhide. It had a bronze boss in the middle of the shield. At some point scientists had discovered a ceremonial type of armor in the tomb of Tutankhamen. Tutankhamen was a young pharaoh. In fact, he was a little boy. He rejected monotheism, worshiped the gods burried in Valley Of The Kings. This armor was made of gold scales and inlaid with semiprecious stones. To bad we don't do that when someone dies here in America.
